Adnan Saladin seorang pakar libasan dalam permainan sepak takraw (libas), sehingga dia digelar sebagai Raja Libas Malaysia. Kehebatan libasan Raja Libas sangat digeruni pasukan lawan terutamanya dari pasukan Siam (Thailand), lebih-lebih lagi Ak Nangkhon, “killer” pasukan mereka. Di perlawanan libas yang lalu, Ak Nangkhon secara kotor telah mencederakan kaki raja libas, menyebabkan kehebatannya merosot. Bukan itu sahaja, kecederaan itu juga telah mengakibatkan tekong malaysia (Dali) parah apabila libas gagal menampan libasan kuat Ak Nangkhon lalu terkena dadanya. Akibatnya Malaysia tumpas kepada Thailand untuk kali kedua berturut-turut. Malah jurulatih dan rakan sepasukan, Megat turut menyalahkan Adnan Saladin kerana kekalahan itu sehingga jurulatih sanggup memutuskan pertunangan Adnan Saladin dengan ratna anaknya.
